Why struggle with that fight, how to fight: Reflections for a popular revolution
Every revolution carries in his heart the ideal of democracy, justice and freedom, but the revolution does not always ideal. For opportunists always use impulses and aspirations of the people to change for personal reasons.
The question does not make the finding and idly; The question is say what we do to prevent opportunists seize control of the masses who aspire to true democracy.
Hence the need for a background check goal of all leaders who claim to be revolutionary, to see whether in their past they have already enriched by using the struggles of the masses. We must also see whether in their past they gagged freedom and democracy when they claimed to fight for its values.
must see if at some point in their lives they had attitudes of contempt towards the lives of some of their countrymen, and they were indifferent to the misery of these.
If this is the case it does no good to associate with such individuals to lead any fight, because these are people who themselves do not believe in the cause they claim to defend. These are their personal interests that guide their actions and not any cause.
The revolutionary struggle is first and foremost a gift of oneself to others and not vice versa.
The life story of Jesus tells us that in the Bible shows that he was a revolutionary in the sense that it has agreed to give his life for others, the Prophet Muhammad (SAW) was a revolutionary in the sense that he agreed to go to the front for the victory speech that he wanted to bring to the world, Che Guevara was a revolutionary in the sense that he drop everything to go and give his life for others and for his ideas, never loot public resources or to Cuba or the Congo or Bolivia. Here are some models that have to be revolutionary for us compasses of our action.
A revolution without revolutionaries is a racket and a waste of time because it always brings us back to square one. Therefore everyone must steel themselves to understand that the fight we want to conduct against Gbagbo is above all a gift of self, which requires that individual egos give way to the collective cause and popular. Everyone can leave his life in a revolution, but we must be sure that in leaving his life it is left for a cause just believe that all those with whom we struggle. Do not be wrong to take action to risk our lives for that final few opportunists who are free to use it just for personal use.
Whoever does not understand this does not deserve its place in the momentum of change we want to bring in Côte d'Ivoire. Our action must be foremost in the interest of all the people and not for some of the people or a few individuals that replace the people.
Here the spirit that should guide our future actions.
Yours, militant greetings! The struggle continues - until the final victory!
